Competitors will have a designated time frame of 2 to 2.5 hours, based on their respective categories, to conquer all three disciplines.
Every category will crown a Rumble champion, along with individual winners in each discipline.

Our Super Social Pumfest is happening next Friday, March 17th. This is a pumpfest-style bouldering completion with a fun and friendly atmosphere. We are committed to growing and supporting our Urban Jungle family and sharing our love of climbing and its social benefits. This is going to be an awesome event, and we hope to see you lovely climbers there!
Urban Jungle's very own eight-week-long climbing competition.
Climbers will score points over 4 two-week-long rounds by Flashing, Topping or Zoning each of our A, B, C, and D routes. That is 16 routes throughout the competition with a maximum of 1,120 points. No one has yet achieved the maximum score. Are you up for the challenge?
This year the competition starts on Wed 25th January and will go til Tue 21st March, with finals held on Fri 24th March.

All students are able to socialise together regardless of class. For anyone keen to compete, this will help you gain the necessary competition experience without the added pressure of an unfamiliar environment. And to keep you on your toes and give you a complete competition experience.
Once again, there will be an entirely new set of climbs just for the comp!
Experience the thrill of Rumble 2022, an Olympic-style triple pumpfest competition hosted by Urban Jungle! This dynamic event combines Roped Climbing (Lead or Top Rope), Bouldering, and Speed Climbing into one exhilarating competition. Competitors were allotted 2 to 3 hours, depending on their category, to complete all three disciplines.
Triple Disciplines: Showcase your versatility across Rope Climbing, Bouldering, and Speed Climbing.
Scoring System: Final standings determined by a multiplied score of placements in all three disciplines, similar to the Tokyo Olympics 2020/21 system. The lowest score wins the gold medal.
Returning for a second successful year, the Summer Lead Series 2022 solidified its place in the climbing community as an unmissable event! This eight-week series was packed with challenging routes across all divisions, including Advanced, Intermediate, and Youth categories. Climbers battled through four rounds, culminating in a thrilling finals event held on Saturday, 2nd April 2022.
The Finals brought together the top six from each category in an epic showdown, where talent and dedication were on full display. With climbing fans cheering on, athletes scaled their way to victory in one of Urban Jungle’s most exciting events to date.

Back for its second year is Urban Jungle's Rumble in the Jungle speed climbing competition. Watch competitors battle it out racing side by side on our speed wall to be declared the 2021 Rumble Champion.

Urban Jungle proudly introduced a thrilling new event in 2021: the Summer Lead Series (SLS 2021)! This inaugural eight-week climbing competition brought together climbers from all levels, providing a stage to test skills, push boundaries, and build community. Featuring 16 routes spread over four intense rounds, the series challenged participants to climb higher, faster, and more strategically.
The top six climbers in each category advanced to the Finals on Saturday, 28th March 2021. This debut series saw outstanding performances, with climbers showcasing grit, talent, and competitive spirit as they vied for the title.

WA’s First Speed Climbing Showdown!
In 2020, Urban Jungle hosted the electrifying Rumble in the Jungle—WA’s first-ever speed climbing competition! Climbers raced head-to-head on the adrenaline-pumping, 10-metre version of the official speed route, pushing their limits in a battle against the clock. It was fast, fierce, and unforgettable, marking a thrilling milestone in the state’s climbing history!
