A guided two-hour social climb with a coach, games, prizes and pizza. Made for newer climbers and anyone who wants more people to climb with.
What's it all about?
Beginners welcome. A coach runs the night, all the gear is covered, and you'll be climbing with a group within the first ten minutes whether you came with mates or on your own.

How the night runs

Check in, grab a name tag, gear up
Sign in at the front desk, pick up rental gear and meet the coach. First-timers do a quick safety induction here.

Warm up and climb
Coach-led warm-up, then climbing in small groups matched on experience. Belay partners sorted on the night.

Games
A couple of low-key climbing games with a small prize on the night. The point is to mix people up, not to compete.

Pizza with the crew
Pizza comes out, raffle tickets go in the hat, and you're welcome to keep climbing until close.

Every Social Night you come to drops 10 raffle tickets in the hat with your name on them. Bring a friend and you both get 10. At the last Social Night of the year, we draw the winner of a To be announced soon (Maybe a year membership, climbing shoes, unlimited coffee, who knows). Turn up more, win more.

Social Night is for you too — free entry, a pizza $7 add-on on the night, same raffle tickets. And it's the easiest way to use your monthly Bring a Friend for Free pass: bring a mate along, you both climb, you both go in the draw.

No. Social Night is built for newer climbers. A coach runs a short induction for first-timers and stays on the floor all night.

That's most people. Groups and belay partners are sorted on the night, so you'll be climbing with someone within the first ten minutes.

Just yourself and something you can move in. Shoes, harness and chalk are included. Bring a water bottle.

Yes, if there's space — but online bookings get first spots and pizza's only included when you book ahead. Walk-ins can add pizza for $7.
